In a realm where ancient mythology meets modern times, an old Australian woman named Helen is quietly getting on with getting older, engaging with her local community, staying in touch with old friends, helping out her daughter and granddaughter. A young Scots lad befriends her, and they develop a strong relationship as he begins to grow his acting career. She grows ever more impatient with humanity's seemingly mindless destruction of the planet. Meanwhile, the younger Greek Gods catch wind of Helen's plight and are determined to lend a helping hand. As Helen's struggles become evident to the divine beings, they decide to intervene and guide her towards a brighter future. However, their parents, the formidable Zeus and Hera, disapprove of the interference in mortal affairs and strictly forbid any meddling. Undeterred by their parents' warnings, the Greek Gods are set on aiding Helen, believing it to be their duty to assist the humans to save themselves. The audio fiction follows the cosmic struggle as the younger Gods find creative and mischievous ways to secretly aid Helen in her attempts to clean up planet Earth. With each passing episode, the bond between Helen and the Gods deepens, and a unique mentorship ensues. Yet, the threat of discovery by their parents looms large, and the Gods must balance their desires to help mortals against the fear of divine retribution.
